The Talent Acquisition Partner leads end-to-end recruiting across functions, delivering against hiring targets and partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements and sourcing strategies. You will proactively source, manage candidate pipelines, drive structured interview processes, and monitor KPIs to ensure speed and quality.

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting, from intake through offer, across all functions with quarterly and annual hiring targets.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and calibrate candidate profiles.
• Drive role intake readiness (JD, scorecard, leveling, sourcing, interview plan, comp range) before launching a search.
• Proactively source and build pipelines through outbound outreach, referrals, networks, and agencies.
• Develop role-specific messaging and lightweight campaigns to increase qualified talent pipelines for priority roles.
• Enable interview consistency (prep, scorecards, questions, feedback) and improve signal.

About The Team

The Talent function sits within Human Resources and owns the full hiring lifecycle—workforce planning, recruiting, offers, and onboarding—supporting growth across Origination, Execution, Asset Technology, and Corporate teams. As one of handful of in‑house Talent Acquisition Partners, you’ll work closely with the others on the Talent team, Human Resources, the Chief of Staff, and hiring managers to execute a consistent, structured recruiting process and help Orenda meet its hiring goals.

At Orenda, Talent Acquisition Partners own end‑to‑end recruiting outcomes across multiple functions as Orenda scales over the next 24 months, with a focus on speed, quality, and predictable execution. Success will be measured by consistently meeting hiring targets, maintaining a high talent bar, and reinforcing disciplined recruiting operations. This role reports to the Chief of Staff.

What you’ll do

• Own full‑cycle recruiting, from intake through offer, across all functions delivering against quarterly and annual hiring targets
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and drive efficient decision‑making
• Drive role intake completeness and readiness (job description and scorecard alignment, leveling, sourcing strategy, interview plan, and comp range alignment) before launching a search
• Proactive sourcing and pipeline generation through outbound outreach, referrals, targeted networks, and agency partnerships
• Develop role‑specific “why Orenda / why this role / why now” messaging and lightweight campaigns (outreach sequences, pitch kits) to increase qualified talent pipeline for priority roles
• Enable hiring teams to interview consistently (interviewer prep, scorecard discipline, question quality, and feedback standards), improving signal and reducing rework
• Apply and uphold established recruiting processes and hiring standards to ensure consistency and quality across all roles
• Execute and continuously improve Orenda’s structured, repeatable interview process to improve quality and reduce time‑to‑hire
• Manage and optimize recruitment KPIs (including time‑to‑fill, funnel conversion rates, offer acceptance rate, cost of hire, and candidate quality), while identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements
• Proactively identify hiring risks (e.g., pipeline gaps, market constraints) and propose mitigation strategies
• Ensure a high‑quality candidate experience while maintaining pace and rigor in the hiring process
• Coordinate offer process and closing materials in partnership with the Chief of Staff (offer approvals and closing plan)
• Ensure hiring practices are consistent, structured, and compliant; partner with HR to support fair and inclusive evaluation
• Maintain a high bar for talent, ensuring all hires meet defined quality standards

Requirements

• 4+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience in a high‑growth or fast‑paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to hit hiring targets across multiple functions simultaneously
• Data‑driven approach — you manage by KPIs and use numbers to drive decisions
• Track record of building and maintaining strong candidate pipelines in competitive markets
• Strong stakeholder management skills; you know how to influence without authority
• Comfort operating independently in a dynamic, evolving environment with shifting priorities

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)

• Experience recruiting for energy, infrastructure, construction or technical roles
• Experience working at a recruiting or staffing agency
• Background in an early‑stage or scaling startup environment
• Exposure to workforce planning or talent strategy initiatives
• Familiarity with ATS and recruiting analytics tools (e.g., Greenhouse)

Work Environment

This is a full‑time, in‑office position requiring work from our headquarters (Brooklyn, NY) five days a week.

• Base Salary: The anticipated base salary range for this full‑time position in New York City is $91,000-125,000 per year. The final base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
• Bonus: In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for a significant annual performance‑based bonus.
