About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our partner recruitment initiatives and strategic hiring efforts. As a key member of our talent acquisition team, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring senior-level professionals, including partners, directors, and other executive roles within our tax, audit, and advisory practices. This role is pivotal in supporting Citrin Cooperman’s ongoing hyper-growth and ensuring the firm continues to attract top-tier talent that aligns with our values and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executive recruitment within the public accounting industry, possess strong leadership skills, and demonstrate a strategic approach to talent sourcing and relationship building.

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of talent acquisition experience, with at least 4 years focused on executive, partner, or senior-level recruitment within the public accounting industry.
  • Prior experience working with executive search firms or within a direct hire search environment is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven success as an executive-facing recruitment partner with strong industry knowledge.
  • Deep understanding of the public accounting sector, including candidate pools and market trends.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic recruitment plans in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Passion for recruitment best practices, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Experience in scaling passive candidate pipelines through process-driven techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ATS systems, and LinkedIn Recruiter.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for partner, director, and other senior-level positions across tax, audit, and advisory practices.
  • Manage a positive and seamless candidate experience to attract top talent, including active and passive candidates.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand hiring needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies, including emerging practice areas.
  • Utilize diverse sourcing methods such as direct sourcing, industry networking, professional associations, and external search firms to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of candidates and provide strategic recommendations for hiring decisions.
  • Lead negotiations, extend offers, and manage candidate expectations to ensure successful onboarding.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential partners and directors across the US through ongoing relationship management and market research.
  • Monitor recruitment KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and continuously improve processes.
  • Represent Citrin Cooperman’s employer brand, promoting our culture and values to attract the right talent.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and implement innovative recruitment strategies to enhance partner selection.
  • Support strategic projects related to recruitment operations, technology, employer branding, and best practices.
  • Mentor and train junior recruiters and coordinators to build a high-performing talent acquisition team.
