We are currently seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our recruitment efforts and attract top talent to join Energy Solutions (ES). Reporting to the Associate Director of Talent Acquisition, this Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies, overseeing a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, and promoting a positive candidate experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-cycle recruitment, excellent communication skills, a passion for building relationships with candidates and hiring managers, and demonstrated managerial experience in teaching, motivating, and operating as a hands-on leader.

This is a hybrid work opportunity, requiring onsite presence at one of our offices a minimum of 1 day/week (currently Wednesdays) with flexibility for other days. Our offices are located in Oakland, CA, Portland, OR, Chicago, IL, and Boston, MA.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and mentor the Talent Acquisition team by providing clear direction, motivation, ongoing feedback, and seeking development opportunities to expand their skills and expertise.
  • Provide guidance to TA Specialists and hiring managers on job posts, screening and interview questions, and evaluation criteria that align with the requirements of the position and ES values.
  • Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment plans to meet objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract and hire top talent using various sourcing methods, including online job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to identify and engage passive and active candidates.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings, proactively sourcing and engaging talent to meet anticipated hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with our People Analytics Manager to review recruitment metrics and use insights to optimize effectiveness.
  • Partner with PC Leadership on the Career Lattice project, assisting with job descriptions, job lattices, and collaborating with our compensation analyst on salary ranges.
  • Represent Energy Solutions at job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to promote ES as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with employment laws, company policies, SOC2, and NIST standards.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, recommending adjustments to strategies and processes.
  • Partner with the Associate Director, TA, to continually improve recruitment processes.
  • Perform other projects and duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a proven track record of sourcing and hiring top talent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience, preferably within talent acquisition.
  • Deep understanding of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, candidate assessment, fair hiring practices, employment law, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using recruiting data and analytics to inform decisions and improve performance.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with social media platforms for recruitment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with ATS, HRIS, and other recruitment tools.
  • Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and take on new challenges.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with resilience to challenges.
  • Work with urgency to meet deliverables and deadlines.

Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, including a retirement plan, health benefits, and stock options.
