Responsibilities

  • Requisition Management – Manage assigned job requisitions from posting through offer.
  • Application Screening – Review and screen incoming applications.
  • Candidate Qualification – Conduct initial candidate qualification.
  • ATS Record Keeping – Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
  • Job Posting – Post and maintain job openings across appropriate recruiting platforms.
  • Candidate Communication – Manage candidate communication throughout the recruiting process.
  • Interview Scheduling – Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate availability.
  • Interview Coordination – Coordinate hiring manager interviews.
  • Candidate Follow-Up – Follow up with candidates after interviews.
  • Status Tracking – Maintain candidate status and disposition information.
  • Offer Support – Support offer preparation and coordination.
  • Pre-Employment Coordination – Coordinate pre-employment requirements.
  • Onboarding Assistance – Assist with onboarding coordination.
  • Candidate Searches – Conduct initial candidate searches using job boards and recruiting databases.
  • High-Volume Sourcing – Identify candidates for recurring and high-volume positions.
  • Candidate Re-Engagement – Re-engage qualified candidates from the existing applicant database.
  • Pipeline Building – Build and maintain candidate pipelines.
  • Talent Pool Research – Research potential talent pools and sourcing channels.
  • Hiring Manager Assistance – Assist hiring managers with recruiting activity.

Job description

Technique is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team at our Jackson, Michigan facility. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Specialist, this position supports Technique’s internal recruiting function by coordinating the day-to-day activities required to identify, screen, schedule, communicate with, and move candidates through the hiring process.

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator serves as a key recruiting support resource responsible for maintaining an efficient candidate pipeline, coordinating recruiting activity, supporting hiring managers, and ensuring timely candidate communication – allowing the broader Talent Acquisition function to focus on strategic sourcing, difficult-to-fill positions, professional and leadership recruiting, workforce planning, employer branding, recruiting partnerships, and long-term talent acquisition strategy.

The ideal candidate has recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, or related experience, with strong organizational, follow-up, and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Comfort working in an applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruiting technology, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidential information are essential. Previous talent acquisition experience – particularly manufacturing, skilled trades, technical, or high-volume recruiting – and familiarity with job boards, sourcing platforms, and recruiting metrics are a plus.
