Appian in McLean, VA is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to manage the end-to-end candidate lifecycle across virtual and in-person interviews. You will ensure a high-quality candidate experience, keeping applicants informed and supported throughout the process.
You will collaborate with hiring teams across multiple time zones to align interview flows, maintain momentum, and craft messaging templates to communicate clearly and professionally.

The Appian Talent Acquisition team helps build and support the groups across Appian. This role is based at our HQ in McLean, VA. While working in-person with customers is our top priority, we also believe that being in the office fosters the in-person collaboration that Appian was built on. Own the end-to-end candidate lifecycle logistics, managing clear communication and scheduling across virtual and in-person interviews.
Deliver a high-quality candidate experience, ensuring candidates are informed, supported, and updated at every step of the process.
Partner with hiring teams across multiple time zones to align schedules, optimize interview flows, and maintain steady hiring momentum.
Develop and customize candidate messaging templates and resource guides to ensure clear, impactful, and professional communication.
Identify process improvements using proactive problem-solving to streamline coordination workflows and daily operations.
Bachelor’s Degree (required).
Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear, professional, and candidate-focused approach.
Proven problem-solving ability, adaptability, and proactive initiative.
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
Prior experience or exposure in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or administrative coordination is a plus.
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Meet) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse.
Demonstrated ability to analyze coordination challenges and implement practical solutions.
The base salary range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant work experience, qualifications, internal peer equity, and market and business conditions that exist when extending an offer. A discretionary bonus may be awarded in recognition of individual and company performance.

Base Salary Range
$50,000 - $100,000 USD
