Spencer's in Egg Harbor Township, NJ is seeking an Assistant, Talent Acquisition to support sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding activities. This role partners with the Talent Acquisition team to drive pipelines for corporate, intern and temporary roles, coordinate interviews and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, HR, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and talent pipeline development for corporate, intern, and temporary positions.
• Utilize LinkedIn, job boards and other tools to identify and engage candidates.
• Conduct candidate phone screens and assist with evaluations.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews, including travel arrangements when applicable.
• Facilitate reference checks and pre-employment documentation.
• Manage onboarding activities for new hires (full-time, intern, temporary).
• Coordinate system access and equipment requests for new hires.
• Serve as a primary contact for new hires through pre-employment and onboarding.
