Job description

About Method Security

Method Security is dedicated to reshaping cybersecurity in an era where AI-driven threats are growing rapidly. Our mission is to defend critical institutions—such as government, defense, and key commercial sectors—against these sophisticated threats by building cutting-edge, autonomous defense solutions. We bring together expertise in AI, cybersecurity, and software to create products that seek to finally shift the advantage in security from offense to defense.

Our Team and Values

Joining Method means becoming part of an elite, mission-driven team that values innovation, transparency, and high standards. We work with purpose, embracing diverse perspectives and experiences while maintaining a high bar for quality. Our team is built around trust, efficiency, and respect. We’re committed to creating an environment where everyone can contribute meaningfully. We believe in small, focused teams capable of tackling complex challenges and achieving outsized results. At Method, you’ll have the autonomy to drive projects forward, the support to navigate challenges, and the opportunity to shape the future of cybersecurity.

Role Overview

You would be the first Talent hire at Method responsible for running the full lifecycle of building the best team at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and national security. The main responsibility of this role initially is recruitment. Method is experiencing massive growth and needs to significantly expand the team in a short period of time. This role requires a leader who wants to both grind in the weeds to make that happen, but also strategically make the machine in the process. You’ll work directly with the Co-Founders, Hiring Managers, and engineers to source, qualify, and close the best candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing through closing and onboarding.

  • Build exceptional candidate pipelines across technical and business roles.

  • Partner with co-founders and hiring managers to define roles, assess talent, and maintain a high hiring bar.

  • Be the tip of the spear for demonstrating what the culture at Method is like.

  • Create a fast, rigorous, and compelling candidate experience.

  • Build scalable recruiting systems while staying deeply hands-on in critical searches.

  • Identify hiring obstacles and take ownership of solving them.

Qualifications

  • Experience in recruiting or another field requiring strong talent judgment and persuasion.

  • High agency, urgency, judgment, and follow-through.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Resourceful, organized, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.

  • Willingness to personally execute every part of the recruiting process.

  • Motivated by Method’s mission across AI, cybersecurity, and national security

Nice to Haves

  • Experience at a fast-growing startup.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, AI, or defense technology.
