As a Mission Operations Engineer at Method, you'll be responsible for the technical delivery of Method platform and directly working with users to ensure their deployment is generating impact. It is a unique mix of solution architecture, user enablement, reliability engineering, and security tool development. Tactically, day‑to‑day, this means administering Method platform, training users, troubleshooting, understanding user workflows and pain points, and developing new security tools as the tip of the spear. Strategically, you are the technical lead for customers, and you turn a deep understanding of their mission into platform and business advantages.
You have a technical background (CS degree or cyber security degree) and want to maintain your technical chops while getting much closer to users. Likely you are currently at a top tier business consulting firm, in a fast paced cyber analyst role, or are a very technical sales engineer.
You do not have to have a security background but you must be deeply curious and have a strong interest in learning cyber security.
You have a business counterpart in the Deployment Lead role which is responsible for the overall customer engagement.
