Infosys DNA is hiring a Technology Consultant 1 to join a dynamic data & analytics team. You will assist in capturing user needs, participate in design discussions, and develop software with a focus on data transformation using Talend, Snowflake, and DBT.

The role emphasizes testing, debugging, and documentation to ensure high-quality releases. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Talend, Snowflake, Cortex, and SQL, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while

Qualifications

• Experience in Talend and Snowflake.
• Snowflake experience with Cortex.
• Experience with Snowflake and IT environments.
• Hands-on experience with developing complex transformations using DBT.
• Deliver high-quality code deliverables and support peers in quality checks; create documentation for modules.
• Strong knowledge of Talend and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and aid in process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications to meet user requirements.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to improve software performance.
• Support integration of new features and ensure smooth transitions within the system.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications and document maintenance procedures.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions for the knowledge base.

Job Description :

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs, and ensure accurate documentation of stakeholder requirements
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications, and aid in creation of process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications, following detailed design specifications to meet user requirements
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, and report defects to the development team, to facilitate enhancement of software performance
• Support the integration of new software features, facilitating smooth transitions within the existing system infrastructure
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and creation of comprehensive documentation for ongoing system maintenance
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions, thereby enriching team's knowledge repository

Required Skills :

• Experience in Talend and Snowflake
• Snowflake experience with Cortex
• Have experience in Information Technology experience Snowflake experience
• Hands on experience with developing complex transformations using Data Build tool (DBT)
• Deliver high-quality code deliverables and support peers in quality checks such that design requirements are met. Create user documentation for the assigned modules
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Talend, SQL.

Preferred Skills :

• Good understanding of data integration, data quality and data architecture
• Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured Data
• Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks
• Experience in Banking domain
• Strong communication and Analytical skills
• Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment
• Experience in Unix shell scripting
