Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a Snowflake, Teradata and Databricks Engineer as part of its DNA unit, focusing on cloud-native data platforms and modern data tooling. The role emphasizes end-to-end data architecture, design discussions, coding contributions, and production issue resolution.

The candidate will leverage Snowflake, Teradata and Databricks experience to drive scalable data solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading migration and modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Teradata architecture and Snowflake cloud data platform.
  • Proven experience designing cloud-native data architectures on AWS.
  • Deep knowledge of data modeling (3NF, dimensional, Data Vault).
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with modern data stack tools (dbt, Airflow, Spark, Snowpark).
  • Experience in databricks.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
  • Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions.
  • Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability.
  • Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories.
  • Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards.
  • Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications.
  • Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability.
  • Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

Required Skill and Experience
  • Strong expertise in Teradata architecture and Snowflake cloud data platform
  • Proven experience designing cloud-native data architectures on AWS

  • Experience with modern data stack tools (dbt, Airflow, Spark, Snowpark)

Preferred Skill and Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience leading enterprise migration programs (Teradata, Oracle, Netezza → Snowflake)
  • Certifications (Snowflake, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.)
  • Experience with FinOps and cost governance in cloud data platforms
  • Exposure to orchestration tools like Airflow
  • Exposure to real-time/streaming architectures
Additional Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
