Job summary

Affinity is a Portuguese technology consulting company expanding its footprint with a focus on data integration. The role involves building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL workflows, and batch processing using Talend, Java, and Spring Batch across international projects.

You will work with relational databases and PL/SQL, participate in CI/CD automation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust data solutions. The position supports hybrid work in a global context.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar (preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in Java development.
• At least 5 years of experience with Talend (ETL and data integration).
• At least 5 years of experience with Spring Batch.
• At least 5 years of experience with relational databases and PL/SQL.
• Experience integrating Talend jobs into batch pipelines.
• Experience optimizing data flows and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to optimize complex workflows.
• English at B2 level (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data integration pipelines using Talend.
• Design, build and optimize ETL workflows.
• Integrate Talend jobs into batch processing pipelines.
• Develop solutions in Java with Spring Batch.
• Optimize data flows and transformation processes.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL scripts and work with relational databases.
• Participate in the automation of processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define and implement data solutions.
