Job Title: Talend Developer

Location: Austin, TX.

Employment: Full Time (Permanent)

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with DW/BI and ETL tools.
• Must have experience gathering technical requirements and specifications to determine appropriate ETL solutions and architecture.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in Talend Projects – MUST.
• Past experience with AbInitio ETL Tool – MUST.
• At least 2 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environment and scripting.
• Experience in conducting code reviews and providing guidance to development team.
• Experience with multiple major RDBMS systems, i.e., DB2, Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of Dimensional Modelling, DW architecture, ETL Frameworks, Design and Development using Talend, Best Practices and Troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Talend Data Integration tool.
• Exposure to other Talend Product Suites.
• Experience with Core Java development is a plus.
• Experience with Hadoop and big data technology is a plus.
• Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts.
• Hands-on development mentality, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
• Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience in Finance domain.
• Strong analytical skills.
