True Food Kitchen is seeking a friendly and efficient to-go assistant in Houston, TX. You will take orders by phone and in person, coordinate with the kitchen, and ensure accuracy from start to finish, including delivery hand-offs. This role offers tips and a supportive team environment.

Shifts include AM/PM with part-time to full-time opportunities. You’ll handle payments, monitor the KDS, and assist with catering orders, all while delivering excellent hospitality and timely service.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take and ring in accurate orders (phone & in person).
• Double-check every detail before the order goes out.
• Handle payments and organize the to-go station.
• Manage third-party delivery hand-offs smoothly.
• Manage and monitor the KDS system.
• Oversee catering orders from preparation through packaging.
