Job summary

Granite Construction Company, Fresno, CA, seeks an estimating support professional to provide quantity take-offs and ongoing technical support to the estimating staff for accurate bids. You will review plans, develop take-offs, labor costs, and material prices while researching data to guide future estimates.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in construction estimating support, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to learn CAD/Modeling software (MicroStation, Geopak, InRoads, HEC RAS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
• 0 - 2 years construction estimating support or similar experience. Construction experience preferred.
• Proficient in all MS Office products (Excel, Access, etc)
• Ability to learn CAD and Modeling Software (such as Microstation, Geopack, Inroads, HEC RAS, etc)
• Ability to calculate quantities accurately and in a timely manner
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Ability to understand, analyze and summarize supplier and subcontract quotations.

Base Salary Range

$60,458.00 - $90,686.00
