Job summary

Rapport International is seeking qualified interpreters for in-person interpretation in the Omaha, Nebraska area. Candidates must be fully bilingual, possess excellent communication and listening skills, and have familiarity with medical terminology. Transportation to attend local appointments is required.

Interpreting experience and/or certification is preferred. This independent contractor role offers flexible, PRN hours, with some availability Monday–Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual requirement for in-person interpretation.
• Excellent communication and listening skills required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Must maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• In-person interpreters only; transportation to attend appointments is required.
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal; printing and uploading vouchers required.
• Must have access to a printer.
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred.
• Background checks and drug screens required.
• Schedule is PRN and part-time, with some availability Mon-Fri 7AM–5PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation for Nebraska clients.
• Attend appointments in the Omaha area as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Use the online portal for vouchers and documentation as required.
