Job summary

Rapport International is seeking qualified interpreters for in-person interpretation in the Omaha, Nebraska area. Candidates must be fully bilingual, possess excellent communication and listening skills, and have familiarity with medical terminology. Transportation to attend local appointments is required.

Interpreting experience and/or certification is preferred. This independent contractor role offers flexible, PRN hours, with some availability Monday–Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM.

Requirements:

• Fully bilingual

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/ HIPAA compliance
• We are looking for IN PERSON interpreters only, you must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) and is flexible based on interpreter's availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability M-F 7AM-5PM as this is when services are typically needed.

Please note, this is an independent contractor position with flexible hours. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken and client needs.
