Job summary

Suitsupply in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a tailor to perform expert alterations for men’s suits, shirts, coats, blazers, and trousers, ensuring perfect fit and high craftsmanship.

You will work with store management and sales associates, keep the tailor shop organized, and deliver timely alterations that elevate the in-store experience. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in garment alterations, preferably in men’s tailoring or formalwear.
• Proficient in sewing techniques and the use of basic tailoring equipment and machines.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and color perception.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert alterations on men’s suits, shirts, coats, blazers, and trousers, including shortening/lengthening sleeves, tapering sides, lowering collars, adjusting trouser waist, and altering trouser length, thighs, and foot widths.
• Accurately mark garments and ensure all alterations meet the company’s high standards for fit and finish.
• Collaborate with sales associates to ensure proper sizing and garment recommendations for customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning tailor shop, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Provide high-level customer service by delivering timely and precise alterations, contributing to an elevated in-store experience.

As a Tailor at Suitsupply, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience by ensuring every garment fits our customers perfectly.
