Suitsupply in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an experienced tailor to perform expert alterations on men's suits, shirts, coats and more. You will work with store management and sales associates to ensure perfect fit and exceptional service.

This full-time, on-site role at the Easton Town Center location offers a competitive hourly wage, growth opportunities, and employee discounts on Suitsupply products. Flexibility for nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in garment alterations, preferably in men’s tailoring or formalwear.
• Proficient in sewing techniques and the use of basic tailoring equipment and machines.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and color perception.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple alterations efficiently.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Perform expert alterations on men’s suits, shirts, coats, blazers, and trousers, including shortening/lengthening sleeves, tapering sides, lowering collars, adjusting trouser waist, and altering trouser length, thighs, and foot widths.
• Accurately mark garments and ensure all alterations meet the company’s high standards for fit and finish.
• Collaborate with sales associates to ensure proper sizing and garment recommendations for customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning tailor shop, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Provide high-level customer service by delivering timely and precise alterations, contributing to an elevated in-store experience.
