Job summary

Homewood Mountain & Lake Club seeks a Non-Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructor to join the Snowsports Department at the West Shore Lake Tahoe location. You will deliver world-class snowsports instruction to students of all ages, using modern, student-centered teaching methods in a safe, engaging environment and act as a resort ambassador delivering exceptional guest service.

You will help foster skill development, promote safety, and build genuine connections to ensure guests return season

Qualifications

• Experience in snowsports instruction for guests of all ages.
• Knowledge of mountain terrain and resort operations.
• Experience working with children.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Physical ability to perform duties in varied weather and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional snowsports instruction to guests of all ages and abilities.
• Use student-centered teaching methods to create a safe, fun learning environment.
• Assess guest skills and provide constructive feedback with next steps.
• Promote safe skiing and riding practices and proper lift use.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and foster a welcoming atmosphere on and off the snow.
• Communicate effectively with guests, families, and team members to ensure a great experience.
• Maintain professional appearance reflecting resort standards.
• Assist with class organization and scheduling as needed.
• Stay current with industry best practices and safety protocols.
