Summary

The Market Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, efficient service while supporting daily operations of our on-site market. This role includes preparing and serving coffee, handling basic food service tasks, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the space, and operating the cash register.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages to standard.
• Heat and serve pre-made food items using approved equipment and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the market, including restocking shelves, wiping surfaces, and ensuring product displays are tidy and appealing.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to complete guest transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional manner.
• Monitor food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Support inventory management by notifying management of low stock items.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cashier, barista, or food service role preferred.
