Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Incorporated is seeking Lumber Taggers for a full-time position with competitive pay and full benefits. You will load/unload materials, assist in assembling fence panels, and attach product tags to merchandise using a stapler.

Responsibilities include checking identifications, reporting defects or shortages, and maintaining inventory records. High school diploma or GED preferred; lumber experience is a plus.

Summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., producer of YellaWood brand Pressure-Treated Pine is seeking Lumber Taggers. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefit package.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Loads/unloads materials
• Assists in assembling fence panels and other products using a nail gun
• Attaches product tag labels to merchandise, material, or product with hand-held industrial stapler machine
• Checks items for proper identification
• Reports quality deficiencies, shortages, and/or damaged goods
• Keeps record of inventory and checks items for proper identification
