Paylocity is seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Registration Clerk in Kansas to process registrations, titles, and renewals for Montgomery County. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness in all transactions and maintain records with a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities include handling cash, balancing drawers, processing web renewals, and supporting compliance with applicable laws. Strong math, communication, and multitasking abilities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate office equipment and learn new software.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts and update information as needed.
• Process registrations, titles, permits, registrations, and license plates daily.
• Assist customers with insurance ID documents as needed.
• Process web renewals and scan all necessary documents to finalize transactions.
• Balance cash drawer daily and handle cash payments accurately.
• Process lien and security interest releases and add them for financial institutions.
• Reissue lost or stolen license plates and process replacements.
• Enforce and maintain compliance with all applicable laws and ordinances.
• Attend conferences and meetings to learn new methods, rules, and laws.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains confidentiality.
