Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Tactical Voice Engineer to support the Expeditionary Communications Technology Integration Center. This hybrid role is located at Warner Robins AFB, GA.

The position requires designing, deploying, and optimizing classified networks, with CCNP or higher and an Active Secret clearance. You will install hardware/software, define standards, and work across engineering teams to ensure system readiness and performance.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance required
  • CCNP or higher certification required
  • Experience designing, deploying, and optimizing classified networks
  • Proficient with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS and VPNs

Responsibilities

  • Gathers information on product capabilities and customer requirements
  • Translates strategies into network and system requirements with other engineering teams
  • Establishes standards and procedures for network and system development
  • Designs interfaces and integrates network elements to work as a whole
  • Assesses performance with evaluation criteria and KPIs
  • Supports business development and customer liaison to shape requirements
  • Coordinates planning, design, and installation of equipment
  • Performs system concept design and documentation of concepts
  • Installs hardware, systems, and software for networks
  • Designs, creates, and builds network services and devices
  • Develops system-level verification procedures and test plans
  • Monitors system performance and tunes configurations
  • Reviews test plans to ensure contractual objectives are met
