Job summary

Sawdey Solution Services is seeking a Tactical Systems Engineer to provide on-site and authorized telework support for mission planning systems in DoD environments. Responsibilities include administering classified systems, GIS and geospatial data handling, and secure LAN management to ensure operational readiness.

The role requires DoD background, DoD 8570/8140 IAT II certification within six months, and the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain classified and unclassified mission planning systems and provide end-user support.
• Provide GIS, mapping, and imagery support and manage geospatial datasets.
• Manage secure and non-secure LAN environments and perform diagnostics.
• Set up/teardown mission planning systems for exercises and deployments.
• Deliver user training using train-the-trainer methodology.
