GardaWorld Security Services U.S. is actively seeking a Tactical Security Officer to patrol and monitor assigned locations, deter threats, and respond swiftly to incidents in busy environments across St. Louis.

You will verify credentials, observe surroundings, and coordinate with local authorities as needed. The role requires physical stamina for shift work, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass extensive background screening.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass the MVR certification
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Set schedule:Full-Time, 2nd Shift, Saturday through Tuesday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass the MVR certification
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
