GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer in Minneapolis, MN. The role focuses on reading environments, anticipating risk, and acting to keep people and property safe across diverse settings such as retail environments and airports.

Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, incident documentation, and collaboration with law enforcement. The position offers two part-time shifts with a competitive hourly wage and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Level 2 security experience or certification
• State license if required
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property

GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Tactical Security Officer! Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard? What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Site Location: Minneapolis, MN
• Set schedule: We have 2 shifts available.
• Part-time, Friday and Saturday, 3rd shift 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
• Part-time, Saturday and Sunday, 1st shift 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Competitive hourly wage of $23.10 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• You have Level 2 security experience.
• You are Level 2 certified or willing to get Level 2 certification.
• You have a state license if required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
