Job summary

ProTeam Tactical Performance seeks a Tactical Physical Therapist to provide on-site injury care, rehabilitation, and return-to-duty guidance for public safety personnel in a team-based setting.

You will collaborate with an on-site strength & conditioning professional and the broader clinical team to deliver evidence-informed care, design rehab plans, and support duty readiness. Missouri licensure and 3+ years in orthopedic/sports medicine are required; Indianapolis posting noted.

Qualifications

• DPT from CAPTE-accredited program.
• Minimum of 3 years of outpatient orthopedic and/or sports medicine experience.
• Current Missouri Physical Therapist licensure or eligibility.
• Experience managing active, high-demand populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for work-related musculoskeletal injuries for public safety personnel.
• Conduct functional duty assessments and advise return-to-duty and work-modification recommendations.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to public safety job demands.
• Educate patients on injury mechanisms, self-management, and long-term joint/spine health.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other providers to ensure timely, compliant care.
• Document encounters in the EMR and report outcomes to leadership.
