Job summary

JT4, LLC offers a SkillBridge internship program at Nellis AFB, NV for transitioning service members to gain on-the-job training as a Field Engineer. The role focuses on installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of electronic equipment within a military environment.

You will work under supervision to build hands-on experience, progress toward a full-time Field Engineer role, and develop practical skills in engineering standards, test methods, and technical reporting.

Qualifications

• Professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles.
• Practical knowledge of test methods and practices sufficient to perform routine to more complex engineering procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Planning/organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, test, and maintain electronic equipment and systems under supervision.
• Assist senior engineers by researching standards, codes, and procedures.
• Plan engineering steps and resolve problems using standard practices and calculations.
• Prepare sections of design specifications and test instructions as required.
• Perform laboratory investigations using computer-assisted test methods.
• Prepare, deliver, and present technical information for design reviews and reports.
