Job summary

Performance Drone Works (PDW) is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join the team and ensure product conformity to end-user requirements. The role focuses on inspecting first articles, in-process parts, and final assemblies, including PCBA and wire harnesses, using precision tools and formal data records.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting PCBA and wire harness assemblies.
• Experience with electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to read and understand technical engineering documents.
• Proven ability to complete inspection documentation accurately.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect first articles, in-process, and final assemblies prior to shipment.
• Perform mechanical inspections of machined metal and plastic components.
• Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, comparators) to verify work.
• Complete inspection data via Microsoft Suite and SharePoint repository.
• Inspect electro-mechanical assemblies, cables, and wire harnesses.
• Perform visual PCBA inspections to Engineering requirements.
• Assist in Receiving, PCBA, Sub-assembly, and Final Assembly inspections as needed.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance.
