Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks a Tactical Data Link (TDL) Analyst / Link Inject to Live (LITL) Coordinator to support the Navy Integration Training Environment (NITE). This role provides critical expertise in tactical data links, training event support, and system interoperability across participating units.

You will troubleshoot link connectivity, operate LMMT, train range personnel, and coordinate with network participants to maintain current software and hardware capabilities

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelor's degree in related field; 3 years with Master's; or equivalent experience.
• Tactical Data Link (TDL) experience (Link-11, Link-16, etc.).
• Experience in naval strike and air warfare training or large-scale fleet exercise support.
• Joint Range Extension (LMMT) operations experience.
• AIC knowledge and valid state driver's license.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot TDL/LITL link connectivity during training evolutions.
• Operate LMMT to meet training event requirements.
• Coordinate with range personnel and NGTS/LITL operations.
• Coordinate TDL/LITL settings with training network participants.
• Serve as primary contact for interoperability questions.
• Coordinate with external agencies to keep TDL/LITL up to date.

Who We Are

Mission Technologies is seeking a Tactical Data Link (TDL) Analyst / Link Inject to Live (LITL) Coordinator to support the Navy Integration Training Environment (NITE). This role provides critical expertise in tactical data links, training event support, and system interoperability, ensuring reliable and effective connectivity across participating units.

What You Will Do

• Proactively communicates with individual squadrons to ensure link connectivity in every flight and troubleshoot as required during training evolutions.
• Utilize all functionality of LMMT to meet specific training event requirements.
• Coordinates with and trains designated range personnel in the daily operation of TDL/LITL equipment. Assist 2Circle personnel in the operation of LITL/NGTS.
• Coordinates TDL/LITL settings with all training network participants.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all questions related to operational and interoperability issues.
• Continuously coordinates with external TDL/LITL agencies, including training and testing facilities, to ensure the TDL/LITL architecture is equipped with the most current software, hardware, and system capabilities. Recommends modifications and upgrades to increase interoperability with joint and combined forces. Attends appropriate continuing education classes to maintain knowledge base.
• Supports tactical data link monthly COMSEC requirements.

What You Must Have

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Candidate must have Tactical Data Link (TDL) experience (Link-11, Link-16, etc.).
• Candidate must have experience in naval strike and air warfare training or large-scale fleet exercise and training support.
• Candidate must have Joint Range Extension (JRE) Link Monitoring and Management Tool (LMMT) operations experience.
• Candidate must have Air Intercept Controller (AIC) knowledge.
• Candidate must possess a valid state Driver’s License.
• Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.

Bonus Points For Having!

• Link Into Live (LITL), NGTS (Next Generation Threat System) operations experience preferred
• Prior Operations Specialist preferred.
• Completed the JT-102 - Multi-TDL Advanced Joint Interoperability Course (MAGIC).
• Completed the JT-101 - Introduction to Joint Multi-TDL Network Course.

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
