Inviting applications for the role of Tactical Buyer – Domain Trainee – Spanish – Remote Romania

In this role, you will support the indirect buying process of a worldwide FMCG customer by identifying and sourcing tactical buying projects.

Responsibilities

1. Source tactical projects within Indirect Spend categories
2. Benchmark existing prices against historical and external market prices
3. Perform spend analytics to identify the best available market price for ongoing projects
4. Negotiate and conclude sourcing projects within standard timeframes
5. Understand end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation
6. Manage contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and executing them
7. Analyze and mitigate risks associated with procurement and contracts
8. Communicate and negotiate effectively with vendors, stakeholders, and legal teams
9. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines
10. Pay meticulous attention to detail and utilize analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities
11. Ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications we seek in you

1. Language proficiency in Lithuanian and English at B2+ level minimum
2. At least one year of experience in a similar environment and sourcing categories, particularly in tail spend management
3. Experience in tactical negotiations in procurement
4. Strong negotiation skills aligned with experience levels
5. Good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
6. Strong team player
7. Proficiency in MS Excel, with good knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint
8. Preferred but not mandatory: experience with ERP tools such as Coupa, SAP, or ServiceNow
