Summary

Shift Leaders are responsible for coaching Restaurant Team Members throughout their shift to ensure operational Brand standards are met and excellent guest service is delivered. They set goals, assign jobs, and motivate team members by providing timely feedback.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members.
  2. Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational goals and execution.
  3. Ensure Brand standards are maintained during the shift, including food and beverage preparation.
  4. Communicate shift priorities, goals, and results to the team.
  5. Coach team members throughout the shift, providing constructive and clear feedback.
  6. Assist in training restaurant team members as needed.
  7. Oversee safety, security, and profitability policies and processes during the shift.
  8. Coordinate with the next Shift Leader to prepare for the upcoming shift.
  9. Ensure Food Safety standards are upheld.
  10. Manage inventory throughout the shift.
  11. Deliver excellent guest service and coach team members to do the same.
  12. Schedule team members' shifts.
  13. Manage cash over/short during the shift and ensure compliance with cash management policies.
