Summary

A Restaurant Manager is responsible for providing strong, positive leadership to their team to deliver excellent guest experiences, operational excellence, and to help build profitable topline sales of a single restaurant. They oversee the overall operation of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with brand standards, Indus policies, procedures, and all applicable laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members
  • Lead team meetings and deliver training to staff
  • Ensure execution of brand standards, recipes, and systems
  • Foster a guest-focused culture in the restaurant
  • Review guest feedback and implement improvement action plans
  • Communicate restaurant priorities, goals, and results to staff
  • Manage new product rollouts, including training, marketing, and sampling
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety, food safety, and sanitation laws
  • Control costs to maximize profitability
  • Conduct periodic inventory checks as per Indus policy
  • Prepare weekly labor schedules to meet guest demand and service standards
  • Manage supplier and vendor orders
  • Conduct self-assessments and develop action plans for improvement
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with policies and privacy laws
  • Ensure restaurant budget goals are met
  • Manage cash over/short and ensure adherence to cash management policies
  • Handle daily cash deposits and bank visits
  • Engage with Brands Field Operations team as needed
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop staff
  • Monitor and review employee performance
  • Coach team members to improve sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction

Qualifications
