Job summary

Trinity Employment Specialists in Tulsa, OK is seeking a motivated Tacker (Helper/Apprentice) to assist Fitters in assembling pipe systems and performing grinding tasks. This entry-level role offers hands-on welding exposure and a clear path toward becoming a skilled Fitter.

Work schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (4-day workweek) with hourly pay between $18 and $20. Candidates should value safety, quality, and teamwork as they learn and grow in the welding industry.

Qualifications

• Must pass a 2-inch GTAW test and 6G welding test.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a welding or metalworking environment is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Fitters in fitting and aligning pipe components.
• Perform grinding tasks to prepare materials for welding.
• Help prepare equipment and tools for welders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a high standard of work quality.
