Overview

Tack Sales Associates are responsible for greeting and thanking every customer who enters and leaves the store. They must be knowledgeable of all product lines, with a focus on the Tack Department. They are also responsible for maintaining the store's cleanliness, organization, and merchandise displays. Additionally, sales staff support management with price changes, display resets, and visual standards to ensure a tidy store environment.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Support the "Cavender's Culture" and promote our Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Provide friendly, courteous customer service using professional selling techniques.
  • Avoid high-pressure sales tactics.
  • Maximize selling opportunities with each customer.
  • Stay updated on the latest western wear fashion trends.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
  • Understand CBC policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about current sale promotions.
  • Assist with stocking merchandise and store organization.
  • Arrive promptly and maintain professional grooming.
  • Remain security conscious at all times.
  • Ensure products are correctly displayed, signed, and in their proper areas.
  • Handle customer returns and exchanges knowledgeably.
  • Respond effectively to customer inquiries about products, promotions, and prices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to meet company goals like ADS, UPTs, and contests.
