Job summary

INW: Innovations in Nutrition + Wellness is seeking a tooling technician to manage and inspect Tablet Press Tooling. You will clean, store, and evaluate tooling condition, reconditioning tools as needed, and maintain accurate inspection records and inventory levels.

Training others in the tableting area and keeping tooling inventories current are essential aspects of the role. This position requires proficiency with MS Office, OSHA/GMP compliance, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of computers including MS Office.
• Familiar with OSHA and GMP regulations.
• Mobility to move about to complete tasks.
• Ability to perform measurements and calculations.
• Strong written communication for memos and reports.
• Lift up to 40 lbs.
• Stand, reach and crouch; accommodations available.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and properly store Tablet Press Tooling.
• Determine condition of Tablet Press Tooling and recondition tools as required.
• Maintain adequate inventory of tool polishing components and measurement equipment.
• Measure and record critical dimensions of Tablet Press Tooling on Inspection Reports.
• Maintain Inspection Reports for new and existing Tablet Tooling.
• Maintain tooling usage information on Tooling Tracker Report.
• Establish and maintain required inventory levels of Tablet Press Tooling.
• Provide training to the Tableting operations area as required.
• Upkeep of tooling inventory.
