AAA Pharmaceutical is seeking a Tablet Machine Operator A for 1st shift in Paulsboro. You will independently set up, operate, and maintain the rotary tablet press, ensuring safe and efficient production of tablets. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and basic math skills, with GMP-compliant documentation and teamwork.

First shift runs 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime possible. The position offers full-time hours, competitive pay starting at $22.00 to $26.00 per hour,

Qualifications

• Independent setup, operation, changing-over and maintenance of assigned tablet machinery.
• Troubleshoot problems and optimize machine operation.
• Process powdered products on rotary tablet press to produce tablets.
• Cleaning/clearance of room and equipment; in-process monitoring and inspections; maintain documentation.

Job Description

Compressing / Tableting Machine Operator A

The Machine Operator Level A is responsible for independently setting up, operating, changing-over, and maintaining the assigned machinery in a safe and efficient manner. They optimize machine operation and troubleshoot problems. The Tablet Press Operator is responsible for processing powdered products on the rotary tablet press to produce tablets.

Duties include: Cleaning /clearance of room and equipment, in-process monitoring and inspections, keep the tablet press within limits, and completing documentation. Ensure work is completed according to schedule. Work cooperatively with supervisor, other employees, and quality assurance. Following company policies and GMPs.

Immediate, Full-time, Monday thru Friday, Occasional overtime

Qualifications/ Skills/ Abilities/Strengths

• Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.), and hand tools (wrenches, sockets, etc).
• Prior experience operating compressing / tablet making machinery.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and ability
• Attention to detail, and a desire for ensuring a high-quality product
• Basic math skills, English reading and writing
• Minimally High School diploma or equivalent.
