The role oversees server administration, user provisioning, data connections, data governance, and performance optimization, collaborating with IT teams to support enterprise dashboards. The ideal candidate has seven years in IT, five years in related IT areas, and specific Tableau

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
At least seven (7) years of experience in the IT field.
At least five (5) years of IT experience directly related to the required area of expertise.
Three (3) years of experience administering Tableau Server.
At least one (1) year of experience creating SQL queries.
At least one (1) year of experience with Tableau Desktop.
Preferred: experience creating and utilizing Tableau data visualizations for enterprises.

Responsibilities

Lead Tableau Server administration: provisioning, permissions, upgrades, backups, and licensing.
Manage data connections and data source security.
Enforce data governance across dev and prod environments.
Provide support for server access and performance issues.
Drive dashboard performance optimization and change management.
Attend ITD meetings as required.
Other duties as assigned.
