Job summary

DIA in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled Tableau Desktop Developer to design, develop, and optimize advanced dashboards that drive business decisions. You will translate complex data into actionable insights and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet critical needs.

Ideal candidates will have strong Tableau expertise, SQL and data modeling fundamentals, and experience with data prep and ETL processes. Familiarity with other BI tools and data science integrations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Tableau Desktop Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and data visualization best practices.
• Solid understanding of SQL, data querying, and fundamentals of data modeling.
• Experience with data preparation and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Power BI, ThoughtSpot or Qlik is a plus.
• Experience connecting to Hadoop, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Netezza, Teradata and SQL databases.
• Experience with Python or R for Data Science integration.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Trifecta, Alteryx, SSIS, Informatica.
• Knowledge of APIs, Web Data Connectors, Tableau Extensions, JavaScript.
