Job summary

CMA is seeking a Senior Tableau developer to design and maintain dashboards across multiple databases in New York. You will translate business requirements into technical specs and craft complex calculations for analytics.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL, PL/SQL, and Python skills, plus Tableau Desktop Specialist certification. On-site role in Albany with attention to detail and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
• Tableau Desktop Specialist certification and Tableau Certified Data Analyst are preferred/required.
• 5+ years of experience in Tableau dashboard development and administration.
• Strong SQL skills: Oracle, PL/SQL, data modeling, and normalization.
• Experience with cloud databases such as Google BigQuery and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python) for data manipulation and automation.

Mandatory Skills

• years of experience in Tableau dashboard development.
• experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
• years of experience with Oracle RDMBS and Unix Shell Scripting.
• years of strong experience with PL/SQL.
• with scripting languages like Python.
• experience in developing complex data driven visually appealing tableau analytical dashboards.
• with Cloud databases like Google BigQuery and Snowflake etc.
• to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications.
• of advanced calculations and statistical functions.
• solid understanding of SQL, relational database management system, data modeling, and normalization
• communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, or related field.
• Strongly prefer tableau desktop specialist or data analyst certifications. Tableau certification is mandatory.
