Our work depends on Tableau/Data Visualization and Reports Analyst joining our team remotely to serve as the data front-end expert, to help ensure that we are showcasing data using Tableau’s best practices. This position is 100% remote with work schedules based on Eastern Standard Time (EST); this program’s core business hours are M-F 9AM-5PM Eastern Standard Time. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

We put our people first. As a Tableau/Data Visualization Analyst, you will be trusted to design and develop new data visualizations, dashboards, and other analytical tools to help users better access, analyze, and comprehend their data. A typical day as a Tableau/Data

Visualization Analyst will include:

• Building, developing, and maintaining repeatable, accurate, and credible metrics, dashboards, and reports, which will often require leading cross-functional efforts to build alignment and standardize definitions, leveraging technology that includes Tableau and Python to automate, streamline, and integrate processes.

• Ensuring dashboards and reports are configured correctly and meet the standards set by Tableau (i.e. did we pick the right visuals).

• Identifying and leveraging Tableau capabilities for our specific dataset and use cases, assess data sources to optimize quality and accuracy of reporting output.

• Standardizing client dashboards and reports across the MATS LFO program.

•Overseeing the delivery of reports, dashboards and insights that analyze key operations and performance metrics.

• Identifying and implementing improvements to optimize the intake, data validation, data analysis, and reporting processes.

• Preparing management reporting and presentation materials.

Identifying opportunities to improve operational performance by identifying trends and sources of variation.

Please Note:

• Candidate must be available to work M-F 9AM-5PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) and will be expected to actively attend and participate in DAILY meetings. If they cannot attend daily meetings, they cannot take this position.

• We cannot accept candidates who are working on side-projects or other part-time roles.

Candidates must have the willingness and ability to obtain a CMS Public Trust after starting.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

Possess Valid Tableau Consultant with Designer Path certification – Please include Trailblazer link or in submission notes. and/or

•Possess Valid Active Tableau Data Analyst/Specialist Desktop Certification – Please include Trailblazer link or in submission notes.

Required Experience:

•5+ years of experience working on reporting and data analytics design and development through Tableau.

•Candidate must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.

Required Technical Skills:

•Expert configuring reports in alignment to Tableau standards, requirements, and best practices

• Expert level hands-on experience building and maintaining Tableau visual dashboards

• Expert using MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Security Clearance Level:

• Candidate must be willing and able to obtain a CMS Public Trust clearance.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Expert information visualization experience in turning data into professionally designed dashboards with meaningful insights.

• Master-level presentation and communication skills for sharing concepts internally and externally to various levels/skillsets.

•Ability to multitask between multiple projects and both business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Salesforce and/or Salesforce Visual Force.

• Experience with preparing data files using Excel to load with Apex Data Loader.

• Healthcare Service Industry and/or Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) experience.

• Experience mentoring junior level resources, consultants, and clients.

• Experience working on AWS platform.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, and/or Kanban.

Position Details:

  • Pay Rate / Range: $61.22

The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
