Job summary

GROWMARK, Inc. in Bloomington, IL seeks a Data Enablement Specialist I to administer and optimize our Tableau Cloud environment.

You'll manage user access, data security, and dashboard publishing, while partnering with IT and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. Ideal candidates will have Tableau Cloud experience, strong SQL/data warehousing knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Proven experience administrating Tableau environments, with a focus on Tableau Cloud or similar BI tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Online.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Tableau Online environments.
• Monitor server performance and resource allocation for high availability.
• Work with Tableau support to resolve issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and data security settings.
• Oversee publishing, organization, and maintenance of dashboards and reports.
• Ensure data sources are connected, refreshed, and secured.
• Implement data access controls including entitlement tables from AWS Athena or data warehouses.
• Collaborate with business users to tailor Tableau solutions.
• Provide training and technical support to end users.
• Integrate Tableau with data warehouses and other systems.
• Analyze and optimize dashboard performance and query efficiency.
• Monitor Tableau jobs and resources for timely execution.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
• Establish best practices for Tableau usage and governance.
