Job summary

COPE Health Solutions is seeking a Healthcare BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize Tableau dashboards and related reporting solutions for value-based care clients. This hybrid role is based in Los Angeles with travel up to 40% as needed.

You will own the dashboard development, collaborate with Finance, Analytics, and Operations, and ensure accuracy through QA while leveraging SQL and ETL processes. This role demands hands-on BI experience and strong attention to data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on Tableau application-development experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare analytics, BI, or financial analytics preferred.
• Intermediate SQL querying experience with a strong understanding of database concepts.
• Ability to provide work samples or complete a Tableau and SQL skills assessment.
• Experience with SSIS, ADF, or other ETL tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own interactive Tableau dashboards and related reporting packages.
• Refresh, modify, validate, and troubleshoot SQL queries and dashboard logic for client/internal deliverables.
• Optimize tool design and user experience to reflect best practices.
• Support QA and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting outputs.
• Identify and communicate data quality issues, reporting risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Development, Finance, Medical Economics and Account Management teams.
