Job summary

accel bi corporation is recruiting an experienced Tableau Administrator/Developer for a hybrid W-2 role in Raleigh, North Carolina. The position combines Tableau Server administration, development, stakeholder consultation, user enablement, and training.

The role requires senior Tableau expertise with strong data modeling, dashboards, and governance. On-site work is required two days per week in Raleigh, NC, with admission to in-person interviews for shortlisted candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of Tableau development practices, techniques, and standards.
• Minimum two years of hands-on Tableau experience.
• At least one year of Tableau Server administration experience.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting Tableau Server.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, dashboard development, and report design.
• Familiarity with SQL, SaaS solutions, and data-management processes.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, monitor, and support Tableau Server and related client products.
• Administer the Tableau platform in an enterprise environment.
• Develop interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Promote Tableau development practices, standards, and governance.
• Support an internal Tableau user community and Center of Excellence.
• Train users and provide guidance on Tableau capabilities and best practices.
• Consult with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
• Assist teams with dashboard design, content development, and platform usage.
• Perform data modeling, impact analysis, and data warehouse-related activities.
• Troubleshoot Tableau Server, dashboard, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Work with SQL, SaaS platforms, and enterprise data-management processes.
• Communicate technical concepts and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
