Job summary

Rivers Casino invites aspiring dealers to a 7-week paid training program in Pittsburgh. Trainees will earn $10/hour for 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 10am-2pm) and receive CCAC certification if they pass the final audition.

Upon successful completion, graduates may be offered part-time dealer roles with potential for full-time opportunities. Licensing requirements will be supported by Rivers Casino during the application process.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to obtain and maintain PA Gaming License.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Able to collaborate effectively with classmates and work well as a team.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance.
• Effective communication in English with trainer and classmates.

Responsibilities

• Attend all Dealer School training sessions at CCAC Community College and Rivers Casino.
• Develop proficient dealing skills while adhering to policies, procedures and gaming regulations.
• Resolve disputes or issues during gameplay.
• Exchange currency and manage bets per house rules.
• Present a fun, positive approach to guest service.
