Job summary

Mohawk Casino in Hogansburg, NY seeks a Soft Count Attendant in the Finance department. You will process, count and verify table game drop boxes, CII/CIII machine validators, and related currency and tickets, making necessary computer entries.

This full-time, non-exempt position requires accuracy, adherence to procedures and compliance with licensing requirements. Starting rate is $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Language skills: read简单 words and numbers; print and speak simple sentences.
• Mathematical skills: basic arithmetic, rates, ratios and percentages.
• Reasoning ability: follow simple instructions and handle standard situations.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with the public and fellow associates.
• Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Empty and Drops all validator drop boxes per drop zone.
• Separating currency, tickets and paperwork by class, drop, currency and avoid comingle funds.
• Counts and verifies all Table Games drop boxes and video game machine bill validators.
• Banking, process the currency to be sold to the Cage Main bank.
• Prepares appropriate paperwork and makes necessary computer entries.
• Other duties as assigned.
