Job summary

AllSTEM Connections is seeking a Test and Balance Technician to support our growing testing and balancing service. You will perform field balancing, document reports, and collaborate with the team to optimize building systems for client satisfaction.

This role requires a High School diploma or higher, NEBB/AABC Certification, and the ability to work independently or with the team, maintain safety standards, and manage multiple projects with reliable scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher is required.
• NEBB/AABC Certification is required or preferred.
• Self-motivated and reliable with punctual attendance.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and proficient computer skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships.
• Perform test and balance work on projects and document reports with precision.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure project success and system efficiency.
• Identify new sales opportunities and assist with proposal submissions.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to safety policies at all times.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate technicians to ensure timely completion.
• Train and develop technicians, providing technical support as needed.
• Update project schedules and communicate expectations to stakeholders.
• Document project statuses, field data, and scope completion.
• Conduct monthly one-on-ones with assigned technicians and track continuing education for certifications.

Test and Balance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring strong relationships and exceptional service.
• Project Execution: Perform test and balance work on projects, document reports, and prepare field balancing logs with precision.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to complete projects and provide expert advice on system efficiency.
• Sales and Business Development: Identify new sales opportunities and contribute to proposal submissions.
• Professional Standards: Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety policies at all times.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects and the teammates working on them, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
• Training and Development: Train and develop technicians, providing technical support and guidance.
• Coordination: Update project schedules, coordinate technician calendars, and communicate project expectations and commitments.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with clients, teammates, and the Operations Manager regarding project status, scope changes, and manpower needs.
• Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation of project statuses, field data, and scope completion.
• Continuous Improvement: Conduct monthly one-on-ones with assigned technicians, track and complete required continuing education for certifications, and follow up on stalled projects routinely.
