Arbor Associates invites applicants for per diem School Paraprofessional roles with a Rhode Island public school district near the Massachusetts border. You will support students and collaborate with teachers to enhance academic, social, and behavioral outcomes.

As part of the role, you'll provide 1:1 or small-group support, assist in general education or with students with special needs, and follow IEP goals.

Responsabilidades

• Support classroom teachers in delivering instruction and managing daily classroom routines across a variety of grade levels and settings.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students with disabilities or individualized learning needs, following IEP goals and teacher direction.
• Assist students with academic tasks, organizational skills, and classroom participation.
• Support students' social-emotional development by modeling appropriate behavior, reinforcing school expectations, and de-escalating conflicts calmly and constructively.
• Assist with personal care needs as required, including mobility support, feeding, and hygiene, in accordance with individual student plans.
• Accompany and supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and special activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, behavior tracking, and incident reports as required.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, school staff, and Arbor regarding student needs and any concerns that arise during your shift.
• Follow all school and district policies, RIDE regulations, health and safety protocols, and confidentiality requirements.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a student-first attitude in every assignment.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $21.00 / hour
