GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Model Engineer to lead the engineering team in delivering the program's technical requirements. You will coordinate with Engineering, Project, and customer teams to ensure a quality product that meets user needs.

You will manage requirements, drive V&V, and guide interfaces and configuration control while leading mid-size projects with moderate risk and resource needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a program or project leadership role within an engineering environment

Job Description Summary As Model Engineer, you will be the prime technical point of contact leading the overall GE Aerospace engineering team to execute the program's technical requirements. In this role, you will coordinate with Engineering, Project and the technical team from the customer. Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process. All activities that consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the users needs. The discipline that executes a robust process of design, creation, and optimization of systems, consisting of identification and quantification of system requirements, creation of alternate system design concepts, performance of design trade studies, selection and implementation of the best designs and verification that the design is properly integrated and executed. Process that proceeds from concept to production to operation. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

The base pay range for this position is 149,500.00 - 198,950.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on September 21, 2026.
