Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with LMR, RF Systems, or IT Systems.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain security clearance.

Position Overview

The Territory FSO Working Field Manager for T6 oversees the FSO teams in TX and OK, within the North America Field Services Organization. Responsibilities include local technical support, operation & maintenance of field and support services contracts, leading SUA/Juniper/KCore upgrades, and collaborating with partner shops.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage Local Field Service Technicians and coordinate technical and administrative support activities such as installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and engineering change requests at client sites.
  • Lead SUA/Juniper/KCore upgrades in the field.
  • Maintain records and systems accurately.
  • Schedule personnel for critical situations, including 24/7 local support.
  • Communicate with design management and specialists to resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • Lead on-site enhancements, maintenance, and support for systems.
  • Implement product configurations, software upgrades, and hardware installations.
  • Manage partner shops and complex projects to completion.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair technical problems.
  • Possess knowledge of company and third-party products used in customer systems.

Additional Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including verbal and written, using MSI tools.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and situations.
  • Willingness to live in T6 and travel as needed (25-50%).
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
  • Knowledge of MSI's P25, E911, recording, and older systems.
  • Ability to lead SUA/Juniper upgrades and maintain P25/Console systems.
  • Understanding of departmental P&L and contribution margin improvement strategies.
  • Awareness of industry trends and future customer needs.
  • Must pass background and driving checks.

This role involves working in high-security areas governed by CJIS policies, requiring a stringent background check.

Salary Range

$112,300 - $224,600, depending on experience and skills.

Minimum Experience

  • 3+ years in LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, Motorola equipment, Telecommunications, Networking, or related fields.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain necessary security clearances.

Travel Requirements

25-50% travel expected.
